If employees need to obtain certifications or diplomas for their roles, you can manage these within the 'Training' section of the employee file. This includes adding, managing, and monitoring expiration dates with action points.
Access Training Section:
Go to the employee’s profile and click on ‘more’ in the ‘Training’ dashlet.
Add New Training:
Click on ‘Add Training’.
Enter Training Details:
Fill in the following details:
Name: Enter the name of the training, certification, or diploma.
Institute: Provide the name of the institution or organization.
Level: Specify the level of the qualification (e.g., certificate, diploma, degree).
Start Date: Enter the start date of the training.
End Date: If applicable, enter the end date of the training.
Final Grade: Record the final grade or result if available.
Completed: Indicate whether the employee has completed the training.
Part of Training Plan: Specify if this training is part of a broader training plan.
Save Training Record:
Click ‘Save’ after entering the details.
Add Action Points:
After saving the training details, you can add action points, such as scheduling follow-up discussions or reminders related to the training.
Attach Certificates or Diplomas:
It’s important to attach the diploma or certificate as a document. Based on the validity period specified for the document, you will receive a reminder a set number of days before the expiration date.
By managing training records, certifications, and diplomas in this manner, you ensure that all necessary qualifications are tracked and maintained effectively, with timely reminders for any required actions.
